In addition to snow in Chicago, travel is being hampered by bad weather on the East Coast. Snow and ice are creating hazardous travel on central Illinois roads, though conditions tend to be worse in rural areas and north of Sangamon County, according to an update from the Illinois Department of Transportation.

AAA Mid-Atlantic estimated that 50-mile or more trips among area residents would be down about 2.5 percent from last year.“The economy has been the factor in Wilkes-Barre area residents’ travel decision this year, with fewer travelers for every major holiday,” said Catherine L. India will host a new European Tour event in February, the Avantha Masters in New Delhi worth 1.5 million euros (1.3 million pounds).
It will be the first tournament of a joint venture between the European Tour and the Asian Tour, to be known as EurAsia Golf. The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) is the other partner in the tri-sanctioned event.
